Samsung Flashback; Galaxy Mega 6.3 With Official Data, Size Comparison And Unboxing
The megalomaniac continues: Samsung presents the Galaxy Mega series, officially. As early as the 8th, there was or was information on one of the two models in 5.8 inch format . The “better” and especially bigger device is that with 6.3 inches. Unfortunately it has no Super AMOLED but an LCD panel. The resolution is just fine as well as the rest of the equipment but generally it can not settle in the high-end segment but see for yourself:
6.3 inch TFT display with HD ready resolution (233ppi)
1.7 GHz Exynos 5 Dual “5250” chipset
1.5 GB RAM
3200 mAh battery
8 megapixel main camera
1.9 megapixel front camera
8 GB / 16 GB internal memory
MicroSD slot
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean + TouchWiz Nature UX v2
infrared transmitter
NFC
Online one goes with this Phablet / Smartlet after the Wlan standard a / b / g / n / ac. Of course, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS are on board. The bulk is for a phone like from another planet but the good thing is that it’s a good 8mm thin. Here is a comparison with the Galaxy Mega 5.8, Note 2, S4, S3 and Nexus 4.
I think strongly that the ultra-large device will sell well, only Samsung has to stay within a frame with the price. It will be available sometime in May, as well as the mega 5.8 also. Last but not least, there is still a (dual) unboxing video from the Ray of PhoneArena at the same time takes the Galaxy Note 8.0 before. By the way: The tablet will arrive in Switzerland at the end of April.
